Grandma Birdie's Christmas Quail

We partnered with The Wild Way Farm to bring you our down home Christmas tradition. Every year, my mom makes a brunch which consists of many southern classics. But the star of the show is her Quail and Grits smothered in a white wine and lemon mushroom gravy. These are the best birds we’ve ever used for this recipe. What Wild Way Farm is doing is the real deal. We are so grateful to have something so special in our back yard! Hope you have a chance to take part in our family tradition this Christmas!

Ingredients: Quail, grits, onions, mushrooms, chicken stock, wine, butter, flour, cream, Parmesan, herbs and spices



Do not thaw before cooking. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove product from packaging and remove lable. Bake on sheet pan on center rack for 20 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown and internal temperature is 165 farenheit or greater. Ovens may vary.
